Personal Investments • Unable to transfer money - new account

My teenager opened a new Roth IRA account April 1 and is trying to transfer money into it for 2023 before April 15.

She was able to add a bank account which was approved (got the $.53 deposit from Vanguard, etc.), but when trying to transfer the money to Vanguard is not even able to select the account. She gets an error message that says it can't be done and to call for help.

She called for help (with me on a zoom call in case she had questions of me) and got very little, but ultimately was told to fax a drivers license copy, (despite submitting DL photos when the account was created) and that was done on Monday. It's now Wednesday and she still gets the "call for help" error message.

She's going to call again tomorrow, but wondering if anyone has any idea of what the issue could be, since the customer service agent didn't seem to be very knowledgeable. Hoping there is something she could suggest to them or a better way of asking for help or something we (and the agent) are missing.
